How often is coin data updated on Coinranking?

Hey everyone,
Just wondering how frequently the coin prices and rankings are updated on Coinranking? I’m using the API for a small project and sometimes I see slight delays compared to other platforms. Is there a typical refresh rate or way to check update timestamps?

Hi @John_Smith, it depends on which endpoint. If you use our WebSockets, then it is updated in real-time. But if you use our REST API endpoints, then our data is refreshed every minute, including the prices and ranks.

Keep in mind that some smaller coins may have less exchanges and are less frequently updated because there is less trading activity or some of these exchanges are fetched less often than every minute.

Furthermore, we have made big improvements to our infrastructure lately, so expect a much higher quantity of real-time price data to be sent through our WebSockets.
